Ruth
recently won the Young British Classical Performer 2007
award at the Classical BRIT's. Her debut CD with the
Philharmonia Orchestra was released to huge critical acclaim
worldwide. She is joined by pianist Joseph Middleton, winner
of the Pianist's prize at the Wigmore Hall International
Song Competition 2007.

Schools Music Day Concert

Wootton Upper School, Ian Smith. The day has steadily grown
into a relaxed and informative day for Bedfordshire’s ‘A’
and ‘AS’ level music students.

Joan Rodgers - soprano
Saturday 6 December, 8.00pm
Joan has
an outstanding career in opera, oratorio and recordings. She
has been awarded the CBE. Joan is a frequent performer at
the BBC Proms. Operatic engagements have included regular
appearances at the Royal Opera House, English National Opera
House, Glyndebourne, and with other leading companies in
Britain, Europe and the USA. She will perform works by
Grieg, Rachmaninov and Mozart with pianist Joseph Middleton,
praised by the Times for playing with 'accomplishment and
heart'.
