Sunday in the month
with
‘lessons’ being held the
week
before on the
2nd
Sunday in
the month. 2.30 - 4.30pm everyone welcome! Admission £3 includes
tea.

Car Treasure Hunt
We are planning
another car treasure hunt on Sunday afternoon
14 September
ending at
a ‘secret’
location for afternoon tea. (£5 members of the Friends, £6 for non
members,
£3 children).
Please look out for a signing up list in church.

Tea on the Vicarage Lawn
Everyon e
is invited to the annual Tea on the Vicarage Lawn, which this year
is to be held on:
Thursday 21 August
from 3.30pm - 4.45pm.
Those who are
able may then go over to church for Evening Prayer in the Chapel at
5.00pm.
We hope for a
fine afternoon but if we are unlucky enough to have rain the tea
will be held in the Main Hall so please come along and enjoy the
tea, sandwiches and cakes and the chance to meet and chat with one
another.

Harvest Weekend and Time-for-God Reunion
4 - 5 October 2008

WELCOME LUNCH
will be provided for Time-for-God Volunteers and their families (12.30
- 2.00pm)
in the
Holt Room, to meet with each other and members of the clergy past
and present.
We hope to have
a display of
photographs.
It would be good if any members of the congregation have snaps that
they would be willing to loan to us.
6:00pm Evening Prayer
in the Chapel.
7.30 - 10.30pm
BARN DANCE AND HARVEST SUPPER
– music provided by the Ivel Valley Band. Proceeds to the Bishop of
St Albans
Harvest
for the Hungry
Appeal.
Sunday 5 October
10:00am PARISH EUCHARIST
for Harvest.
This will be
followed by
drinks and light refreshments
in the main hall, enabling the congregation to meet our visitors.
