Brahms’ ‘A German Requiem’

Saturday 15th October, 7.30pm
Our popular, annual Bring & Sing concert! Brahms’s longest composition was our chosen piece for 2016, which was sung in English. Under the baton of local conductor, Ian Smith, with a four hand piano arrangement and two wonderful soloists, this was a memorable concert for all.

Thy Kingdom Come

Although this is now over, if you would like to listen to the recordings from the pre-recorded meetings, you can do so by following the link at the end of this post. The Archbishops of York and Canterbury had asked each Church of England parish to pray for our nation as we approach Pentecost. We designed six short services to pray Thy Kingdom Come – one for each day from Monday 9 May to Saturday 14 May.  CDs of the services are also available on request from the Church Centre Office.
