St Andrew’s is strongly committed to the Fairtrade movement. We have ‘Fairtrade Church’ status. Fairtrade tea, coffee, drinking chocolate and sugar are used in the Church Centre kitchen and in the Foyer coffee machine.
Trading under the title of ‘Fairtrade at St Andrew’s’ we have a small Fairtrade shop inside the Church Centre which opens at various times during the week. Staffed by volunteers, it offers a wide range of fairly-traded and ethically-sourced foods, drinks, gifts, cards, toys, fashion accessories, homewares, garden, household and seasonal items.
On request members of our team will give talks about Fairtrade and we take out stalls to a variety of places and events. We also offer ‘sale or return’ facilities to those wishing to run their own sales of fairly-traded goods.
