The Friends of St Andrew’s organise an annual programme of talks and trips as well as the ever-popular monthly Tea Dances.
Recent past events include a talk about the BBC and Glenn Miller in wartime Bedford, a visit to the National Arboretum and Lichfield Cathedral, a cruise on the Ouse and a Fashion Show.
Live music is provided on several occasions at the monthly Tea Dances and most months the attendance is typically around the 40+ mark. Tea Dance lessons are usually held on the afternoon of the second Sunday of the month with Tea Dances held on the third Sunday in the month.
Membership of The Friends costs £10 per annum and members are usually offered a discount on admission to talks and on trips out. For further information, please contact a member of The Friends of St Andrew’s Committee via the Church Office.
