There will be
toys, games, music and story time with snacks for the children,
tea/coffee and biscuits for the grown-ups.
New term
starts on Tuesday 5 January.
We look forward to
seeing you.

Youth
Youth work at St Andrew’s offers
something for all ages. Noah’s Ark for the under fives, Scouts,
Cub Scouts, Beavers, Explorers, Guides, Brownies, and Rainbows
give opportunities for all. There is always a children’s craft based
activity table at the back of church during the 9am and 10am
services.
See Organisations page for contact details.

MINISTRY TO SCHOOLS
St Andrew's School and
Newnham Middle School
are linked with St Andrew's on a regular basis. Music has been taken
to a group of autistic children. The St Andrew's Schools Trail is a
multi-sensory
and
participatory experience,
whose aim is to welcome children to the church and make them feel
comfortable. Amongst other things, they role-play the calling of
Andrew and a baptism, and give a reading and a mini-sermon. They
take away with them a
personalised certificate of attendance, as well as a
small chocolate egg. |
