Money Advice
at St Andrew's

Free, confidential and impartial advice for people affected by debt

We hold confidential debt advice sessions on a Thursday morning at St Andrew’s Church Centre and at other times by arrangement. We only see clients living in the Bedford Borough area.

Although we are part of St Andrew’s Church, people of all faiths and none are equally welcome. Not all our volunteers attend a church.

We welcome new volunteers

We welcome new volunteers to help us to run our service. Our volunteers come from all walks of life and do not have to be members of St Andrew’s Church;

Advisers: New advisers are fully trained to be debt advisers, so previous experience is not necessary.

Welcomers: meet the clients on arrival and put them at their ease.

Manager and Administrator: support the advisers, and welcomers by making appointments , dealing with correspondence, including some of the routine work following a client meeting and preparing rotas and meetings.

The Management Group: We welcome new members who would be interested in overseeing the service.

At present, we are very fortunate that the running costs of the service are met fully by St Andrew’s Church and the Hall Trust.

If you are interested in any of these roles, please call the Money Advice mobile phone ~ 07599 618602 ~ to register your interest.
