Thanks from those we support

Mission and Outreach sometimes receive letters of thanks from those charities which St Andrew’s have supported financially. Here are some recent ones:

1. Refugee Council

We gave £1500 to the Refugee Council from our 2021 Christmas Services collections.

Thank you so much for your email. That is an amazing amount of money that you have raised, and we are so grateful to have your support! Your support will go a long way towards transforming the lives of refugees and people seeking asylum in the UK.

Thank you so much for your efforts and please do get back in touch with us if we can support you in any way in the future.

Very best wishes,

Natasha

2. Spring Therapeutic Services

We gave £2000 to Spring Therapeutic Services, based in Kempston, who provide a professional and confidential mental health services for children, young people, adults and families. As it is not part of the NHS, there is charge for their services. St Andrew’s have paid for two children to access the services free.

Dear all at St Andrews Church,

We would like to thank you all for your very kind donation of £2,000, we will ensure that we utilise this to offer two children play therapy sessions in the New Year.

We would like to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and a very peaceful and safe 2022.

Warm wishes

3. Mercy Ships

We gave £1000 in response to an urgent request to bring free Covid vaccines to the coastal countries in Africa where Mercy Ships operate.

Your support has provided vaccine doses to protect the vulnerable, like Adzia, a grandmother in Benin.

You have helped deliver 7.4 million doses of the vaccine in the West and Central African region. This is enough to help protect millions of healthcare workers, the elderly and the most vulnerable patients from the worst effects of COVID-19. You have saved countless lives - thank you!

Thank you for your partnership.
