The Pajule Lunch
A TASTE OF LIFE IN PAJULE
Come and join our Parish Lunch!
When? On Sunday 11 June
Where? In the Vicarage Garden.
What time? From 12 noon onwards
What to bring? Something to sit on
What to expect?
A simple (almost) vegetarian lunch of dishes typical to Uganda or central Africa. We will provide the flatbreads (wraps) and tasty fillings as well as some typical dishes like curried cabbage and sweet potato wedges and the national dish Matoke: cooked plantain
What’s the purpose of all this?
Last year we held a very successful parish lunch so we could raise funds and learn more about Pajule – the community in northern Uganda that we’re supporting for 3 years. This will be a chance to hear from Crystal Nnoruka at World Vision more about Pajule and we want to come together to talk informally to Crystal and share a meal together.
Suggested Donation of £6 per adult, children are free (and please bring food they might like to eat if the above does not appeal!)
Sign up here by 4 June to be sure of being fed!
Alternatively there’s a sign up sheet at back of church if you prefer
