On Maundy Thursday we remember the Last Supper and Jesus washing his disciples' feet. In this Eucharist we share bread and wine, and wash each others' feet, as Jesus told us to do. The service ends with the stripping of the altar as Jesus is deserted in the Garden of Gethsemane.
