Friends of St Andrew's
The Friends of St Andrew’s organise an annual programme of talks and trips as well as the ever-popular monthly Tea Dances.
Past events have included a talk about the BBC and Glenn Miller in wartime Bedford, a visit to the National Arboretum and Lichfield Cathedral, a cruise on the Ouse and a Fashion Show.
Live music is provided on several occasions at the monthly Tea Dances, which have now resumed, and most months the attendance is typically around the 40+ mark. Tea Dance practice is usually held on the afternoon of the second Sunday of the month with Tea Dances held on the third Sunday in the month in the Main Hall at St Andrew’s Church Centre.
Membership of The Friends costs £10 per annum and members are usually offered a discount on admission to talks and on trips out.
For further information about The Friends, please contact a member of The Friends of St Andrew’s Committee via the Church Office.
