Dom will lead a workshop for saxophonists from 2pm - 3.30pm, ahead of the evening concert at 7.30pm It is recommended that participants are able to play at Grade 5 level to fully benefit from the workshop.

About the Event
Join this fantastic workshop opporunity to meet and play with other saxophonists under the direction and guidance of Dom Childs, ahead of his concert later in the evening.
Dom is a passionate music educator having been the Saxophone Tutor for the National Youth Wind Ensemble, Deputy Saxophone Teacher at the Birmingham Conservatoire of Music as well as giving workshops across the UK including at Chetham’s School of Music and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance. In March 2013 he began the role of Saxophone Tutor at Birmingham Conservatoire Junior Department, and in 2015 founded the Saxophone Programme on the Ingenium Academy International Summer School.
In 2017, Dom became a Trustee of the Hertfordshire Festival of Music and in 2018 accepted the role of Head of Woodwind & Brass at Bedford School.
